So I inherited this dog and now I think I need to buy pet care insurance for her. Minnie Me is her name and she's a Chihuahua! A Chihuahua - I can't believe it. I've always envisioned myself with a yellow lab. But Minnie Me is so sweet and I have fallen in love with her. So I've reconciled everything by telling myself MMe is a simply a yellow lab trapped in a Chihuahua's body.
I don't know much about caring for a dog so my learning curve will be steep. I've always had cats. They're so self sufficient and undemanding that I never really thought in terms of pet insurance for them in the past. But a dog....ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh that's a whole different ball game. Minnie Me pulls on my heartstrings in ways my cats never have. When she's a little under the weather I fear for her well being. And that's why I'm on this insurance kick.
Back to shopping for pet care insurance for her. I'm just starting to do the research. That's why I decided to start this blog. I figure I could record my findings as I went along. That way I could save some other pet lover some time and effort.
